AD – The items from this Frankie x Oasis line were given to me by Oasis in exchange for this blog post. All items that were gifted to me in general will be marked in this post with a *. To learn more about how I work with brands, read here.
It’s been a hot minute since I wrote a fashion post. Honestly, they’re some of my favourite to write, even if they take the highest amount of effort. However, with my trip to New York and my general lack of pure outfit shoots, I haven’t had the chance to write as many of these as I would like. That is, until now…
Oasis contacted me about their upcoming Frankie x Oasis collaboration, and after working with them at Christmas, I was thrilled to have the chance to work with them again! You may know Frankie Bridge from the popular girl group The Saturdays. However, if – like me – you were obsessed with S Club Juniors as a kid, it’s likely you recognise her from her days with them. Either way, she has a brand new edit with Oasis, where she has compiled her favourite pieces that she feels best reflects her style and will help people transition into the lighter spring season. I was invited to pick two pieces from her new range and style them for myself, letting you know what I thought of this new Frankie x Oasis edit. Then Oasis, being the lovely company they are, threw in a few extra items from their regular range for me to try. So, I thought I’d talk you through all four items.

Featured items from top to bottom: plaid scarf (New Look, but 4+ years old), Beige Duster Trench Coat* (Frankie x Oasis), T-Shirt (Next, 5+ years old), Blue Lily Jeans (M&S), Boots (American Eagle, 6+ years old)
I won’t lie, I have always envied the kind of people that can pull off a coat like this. Everytime I see someone walking down the street in a coat of this kind they always seem so effortlessly chic; like they have their lives together and want the world to know. I can see exactly why Frankie chose it for her edit. I’ve always been convinced that I couldn’t pull one of these off, but I’m so glad I tried. I felt like an absolute boss walking around central London in this. It’s light and breezy, perfect for the spring season, great quality, and the neutral tones make it easy to style. I personally think it’s easy to rock with a pair of boots, patterned scarf and a coffee in hand to look like you mean business.
We should all know by now that I love a good boot. However, I cannot even begin to express how much these boots have surprised me. I’m strictly a boots-with-heels kind of girl. However, Oasis sent these ones to me on a whim, and whilst I did like them I had to admit that they weren’t quite my style. Within 20 minutes of wearing them I had fallen in love with them. They are snug, warm and some of the comfiest boots I’ve owned. Also, they look pretty great on if I do say so myself. If you are looking for a pair of cute-but-casual comfy black boots, then give these ones a look* – I cannot fault them one bit. As the weather gets warmer I reckon they’ll look great with a floaty summer dress and give it a little edge.

Featured pieces from left to right: Boxy Cardigan in khaki* (Frankie x Oasis), Blue Lily Jeans (M&S), White dress (Nasty Gal, 2 years old), Black lace up buckle boots* (Frankie x Oasis), Whipstitch shoulder bag* (Oasis)
I am a sucker for a good cardigan – think they’re a great thing to grab for those late summer evenings. However, I don’t really own any thin, short ones because I can never find any thin, short ones that I like. This short, boxy cardigan is exactly what I’d been searching for. Initially I was a tad unsure as it is very light and thin, but I realised quickly that this only works in its favour. The length is perfect to style with mini dresses, and when buttoned up it makes for a cute little jumper with jeans. You would, however, need a vest top or something underneath if you chose to wear it as a jumper, as it is quite thin.
What is a business-boss outfit without the perfect bag? I overuse a black handbag like it’s going out of style, and my current go-to is falling apart at the handle because I’ve had it for around 4 years now (What can I say? I’m loyal). Therefore, this couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. It’s a good size for my camera, purse and other essentials, I absolutely love the shape of it, and it was incredibly sturdy. The chain detail on the handle gives it that extra flair, and for the price, I think it’s a great find.

All items referenced at different points above.
And there you have it – my thoughts on the new Frankie x Oasis edit! Thank you so much to Oasis for working with me again, thanks to Frankie for making this edit (It’s absolutely gorgeous), and thanks to all of you for reading! Feel free to check out the Frankie x Oasis edit here – there are lots of lovely pieces!
Lots of love,
Jas xx
