I’ve had an amazing year and a half working on www.thoughtsfromjasmine.wordpress.com, but it’s about time that I said goodbye…
And HELLO TO MY NEW SELF HOSTED SITE!!! I’ve been debating it for a long while, but now that I’m generating somewhat of an income through my blog, and I’m aware of what my future potential could be like, I’ve taken the plunge and gone self-hosted.
What does this mean?
It means I have a brand spanking new website that I have put money into and now completely own. I have spent time customising and really getting what I want out of it, so it looks really pretty and fancy and I’m so happy and you should check it out because I’m incredibly hyped. (PS. I’m posting this post to both of my blog sites, so if you’re already on the self-hosted site, congrats! It’s pretty, isn’t it?)
So… How do I find your site now?
If you were already following my blog, you have nothing to worry about! All my followers have been transferred over to the new site, so congrats, you should already be reading this off of it! If you’re reading this off of my old site, head over to www.thoughtsfromjasmine.co.uk because that’s my new little home on the internet! It’s essentially the same name as before but without the .wordpress bit, because I’m all fancy and have my own domain and it’s crazy, but I’m excited.
But? You said goodbye in the title?
Yes, that was the closest I’ve ever come to clickbait. I have no regrets: it’s essentially true because I am saying goodbye to my WordPress site… Also, you clicked it, didn’t you? And aren’t you glad you did? I hope so.
I don’t know if I can trust you again.
You don’t have to trust my WordPress site ever again… But you know where there will be no clickbait? On my new self-hosted site. thoughtsfromjasmine.co.uk would never lie to you, or give you clickbait. thoughtsfromjasmine.co.uk is a changed woman, with some fresh funky content coming your way…You should subscribe to thoughtsfromjasmine.co.uk

I’ve seen the new site on my phone, it’s kind of cute!
Yeah, thank you, it is kind of cute on phones. But you know where it’s cuter? A laptop! You don’t have to constantly read it from your laptop, but you should check it out there at least once because it looks that much cuter.
So how did you go self-hosted? Was it tricky? Did you cry from stress?
